The fashion gatekeepers at Harper's Bazaar tell us that hats are back "in" for the upcoming season with their latest article "The Hat's Out of the Box".
The great thing about working in vintage is that what is in or out becomes an amusing irrelevance. It might effect what will sell in my shop, but will not effect what I will buy or wear. Hats have been a consistent thing for me for decades.

I do particularly like the extra wide, white beret hat in the third row, but berets are generally my go-tos! It was a surprise to find out that it's by Pierre Cardin as I didn't know the fashion house was still in production - reprising some iconic looks from decades past, to my delight!
