FINALLY!

After first hearing about the Winnetka Antiques + Modernism Show some ten years ago, I am a vendor!

In the past few months, I have been collecting delectable vintage from a vast and unusual variety of sources, and saving it for THIS WEEKEND!

I’ve dry cleaned, mended, researched, tagged, and steamed five racks of some very unique pieces, all to be presented first at the preview party this Thursday, and on display through Sunday late afternoon.

It’s the kind of show that comes with a glossy, printed program guide, and for the first time in the history of my business, I actually put in a print ad:

Expect to find Edwardian blouses, 1930s evening gowns, 1960s tapestry capes, and a vast array of furs and coats, as well as accessories.  It is one of the most eclectic combinations of distinctive style I’ve ever presented. It also runs deeeeeeeeep when it comes to designer pieces.

Gucci blazer? Check.

Sonia Rykiel velvet track suit? Yep.

How about some Prada low risers? Got it!
