Tops & Bottoms from the Late '90s / Y2K

Including iconic pieces from the legendary Linea Rossa sub-label

Launched in 1997 as Prada Sport and renamed Linea Rossa ("red line") in 2009, it represented the designer's fascination with technical materials and sailing culture by embracing industrial materials like Pocono nylon with a minimalist, monochrome look.

Each Linea Rossa piece was set off by a single red rubber stripe — a nod to Prada's Luna Rossa America's Cup sailing team.

By the turn of the millenium, the "Red Line" had become a "thing" across rave culture, indie-sleaze, and early hip-hop style.

Prada revived it for AW18, and it's remained in rotation since — with original late-90s/early-2000s pieces now prized as Y2K/gorpcore-era grails.
