**** Last month I spent 48 mind-blowing hours in Paris. One of the reasons was to see the Louvre Couture exhibition. Here is a A great behind-the-scenes video from the Louvre itself (hat tip to Vicky). My video here.
The museum embedded stunning couture gowns, accessories, and jewelry from the last 75 years within its galleries; showing parallels with everything from armor to tapestries housed in the opulent Richelieu wing. We spent about 4 hrs meandering through it and I still think we didn't find every object as I refused to go by the map!
