30s Cream Silk Long Slip Dress Nightgown Embroidered

Slips on overhead, this lovely piece is sleeveless, with wide shoulder straps and a V neckline at the rear that is is trimmed in ornate beige lace and mesh, and there is delicate embroidered trim around the arm holes. The front neckline is copped and has matching lace sash that interweaves in and out of the top edge, along with ore lace at the bottom. The fabric is a subtle cream-on-cream leafy branch that gives it a "crinkled" appearance.
Note also the decorative darts at the waist and sides of chest.
The rest of the silhouette descends along the lines of the body, ending at the ankles. There are belt loops at the waist, but, alas, the original belt did not come down to us.

Condition: very good with a few small issues. The ends of the sash ties at the neck have tiny stains in dark yellow. There is also very subtle and slight discoloration around the right side of the chest front, just under the lace.
