Incredible piece of 40s glamour, this is a tunic and skirt set in a brown, rayon crepe fabric.
Tunic has long, fitted sleeves and a silhouette cut down the torso with a diagonal hem. The drama is in the sequined and beaded embellishment at the chest - a bursting firework /sun star design taking this simple look to a higher level! There are diagonal seams at the chest sides and the left side of waist gathers gently at the side seam to create a flattering shape. The shoulders are padded and closure is a zipper down the back.
The matching skirt is high waisted, ends at mid-calf, and closes with a metal side zipper.
Both pieces are unlined.
