Fun shirt waist style party dress with torso in black, ribbed satin featuring button down closure at center of chest, short sleeves, and a nipped waist. There is a small, fold dcollar with copper and black striped taffeta. The same striping is echoes on the upturned cuffes of the sleeves and throughout the midi length, pleated skirt. Waist has further snap closure on the interior. Original belt was likely in striped copper pattern, but has not stayed with the dress through the decades. We like the little black one we paired with it so will include in purchase.

Fabric: no tags. Looks and feels like a rayon based satin taffeta.
Condition: Very good with one issue in that there is discoloration at the underarms (see last pic). Not noticeable unless pointed out in direct light. Priced accordingly.
