80s Diane Freis Fishtail Skirt Blouse Set Black White Georgette Graphic Print
Two piece blouse and matching skirt set by the queen of 80s prints!
The blouse pulls on overhead and features shoulder pads, a ruffled, V neckline as well as three-quarters length, dolman sleeves with elastic cuffs. It has long tassel ties at the rear sides of neck, a ruffled triangular panel at the upper back, echoing the front, and drawstring closure at the rear! The ankle length skirt has an elastic, high waist, and a flowy silhouette. Hem is ruffled.
Both pieces unlined.
I love the mix of the prints here with the sleeves in a busy, almost "folk embroidery" pattern, in contrast to the body of the blouse which is an 80s take on abstract geometry!
The skirt also has this with the fishtail panels contrasting with the rest of the fabric.
***Note that the fabric in both pieces is semi-sheer.
