It is 100% silk in a charmeuse weight, made in France, and it goes on over the head with no zipper anywhere. The front is pleated off-center, gathered into a small folded flourish at the left chest, under a low scoop neck. Narrow self-fabric sashes at the waist draw it in as much or as little as you like. The blue is a deep peacock that shifts toward teal in daylight.
