Edwardian Beige Silk Blouse Check Pattern Long Sleeve Waist Sash
Exquisitely beautiful shirt, c.1910s in incredible condition for its age and delicacy. Long sleeved with ample cuffs in lace trim, it has a sailor collar with more lace trim, that lays open across the sides of the chest. Center has crocheted buttons for clousre down the front. It has a somewhat cropped waist that is further accentuated with silk sash ties that meet at the center in a bow. Semi sheer, the overall texture is a subtle beige check pattern.
Fabric: no tags. Looks and feels like silk wit cotton crochet lace trim
Size tag: none
Fit: small to medium but please see exact measurements below to ensure fit. It's a medium in that the chest is ample due to the blousing of the style and the waist can be cinched tighter or looser depending on how you tie it, but the waist would best fit those under a 28" waist.
Condition: incredible with a few issue that do NOT detract from wearability: there is a 3cm wide light brown stain at the right sleeve, where it meets the cuff at front and two small areas at the front scarf panel where the silk shows some wear and very light tearing (it gets lost in the folds but please see pics for details). Priced accordingly.
