Hardcover with wear to spine, edges, and corners as pictured but very clean interior with no stains or tears or markings. Binding is very sound. One flyleaf page shows damage from what appears to be the removal of a sticker.
Boards are illustrated and have an ex-libris sticker.
Features the signature of the artist as part of a limited edition of 100, this being number 8.
There is also an ink signature as part of a dedication, on fly leaf.
L.M. Stein Publisher (Yiddish "Shteyn'") From Wikipedia: "n 1926, Geller formed what would become a lengthy working relationship with Chicago publisher and cultural activist L. M. Shteyn (a pseudonym for Yitshak Leyb Fradkin, anglicized as L.M. Stein in his English language correspondence)." Also --"n 1937, Shteyn published a volume of about sixty woodcuts by Geller called From Land to Land, produced as part of the Federal Art Project (FAP), the visual arts arm of the Great Depression-era New Deal Works Progress Administration (WPA) Federal One program in the United States."
