These boots are Ukrainian red leather dance boots or "choboty".
While many traditional Ukrainian boots were made in yellow, black, or green, the red boots (known as sapyantsi) were originally a sign of wealth and status, worn by the nobility due to the expense of the red dye. The style gained widespread popularity after being featured in an 1800s play called Natalka Poltavka, and the trend stuck, becoming synonymous with Ukrainian folk dance. Today, they are designed for flexibility and comfort for dances like the Hopak and Kozachok, and are available from various dancewear suppliers.

These look to be unworn and slip on with no zippers or closure. Chunky mid rise heel completes the look.

Condition: excellent as they present as unworn but there is a pinsize hole at the very top edge of each boot, at the inside of the calf (see pics), perhaps where a price tag was once perforated? Miniscule and only noticeable when pointed out.
