Vintage 1950s Dress + Jacket Suit Set Navy Blue Polkadot Wool Silk / M

The perfect outfit for the poised, put-together, very sharp lady who wants to be both serious and glam!
Start with a sleeveless wiggle dress that hugs all your curves and heightens your bust area with a sweetheart neckline defined by pleated silk. The sheer navy blue silk panel from through to bust contrasts in its modesty. The rest of the frock is in a jacquard wool of textured navy-on-navy polka dot print. The dots have a shimmer against the wool, thanks to their satin finish. Kick pleat at center rear. Fully lined.

The matching jacket is cropped, double breasted, and with a peter pan collar. It's demure appearance acts as a surprising foil to the bombshell frock underneath! No lining.

Dress has a hook at the nape (leaving a keyhole), plus a zipper at center rear.
No labels. The original owner told me how she commissioned a seamstress to make this especially for her measurements. She wore it to her cousin's Bar Mitzvah!
