Vintage early 1980s Giorgio Armani mainline dress featuring the highly rare and collectible first-era white canvas label. Cut entirely from lightweight, unlined 100% silk, this exceptional piece displays a striking graphic pattern of black and white stripes running in alternating horizontal and vertical directions. The construction features a true wrap silhouette with an open plunging V-neckline framed by a wide notched lapel collar. This historical garment dates from the foundational 1975 to early 1981 era of the designer's independent house, making it an incredibly scarce piece of textile archive.
The bodice features subtle built-in shoulder pads over half length, slightly puffed sleeves with fitted cuffs. The waist is nipped and defined by a matching, long, sash tie belt.
