This is a rare, authentic vintage dress from the collaboration between the legendary couture house of Emanuel Ungaro and the prestigious luxury retailer I. Magnin. During the 1980s, Ungaro was celebrated for his mastery of vibrant color and fluid, feminine silhouettes. This piece represents the high-fashion import collection exclusively curated for the I. Magnin Fine Dress Salon, showcasing superior Italian construction and premium textile quality.
Features a bloused bodice with a high, mock neckline it has dolman cut, long sleeves that taper at the wrist, a nipped waist, and a loose midi skirt with pleating at side waists and slit pockets at the hip fronts. It is the closure that gives this dress the extra effect with a series of round, red, translucent buttons running down the left side of the neck, shoulder, and sleeve, as well as down the left side seam. Note the attached neck scarf in matching fabric. Unlined.
