Rare and highly collectible 1980s vintage pure silk dress from the celebrated Italian fashion house Krizia. This stunning garment features a bold, graphic abstract floral and geometric brushstroke print in black, cream, and vibrant pops of pink and blue. The silhouette captures the peak of 80s avant-garde design, balancing a modest front featuring a high rounded neckline, hidden button down closure along the length of the front, and voluminous short puff sleeves over shoulder pads with a dramatic, structural crossover open-back cutout. Waist is nipped and the skirt is cut down the length of the legs ending just above the ankles. There are slit pockets at the hip fronts. Unlined. Interior has sash ties for extra security.
