Vintage 20s Silkprint Day Dress Navy Blue White Cream Long Sleeves / S

Very rare dress from the late 20s, this below the knee piece is cut out of a dark blue silk with a white fleck print. Collarless with a "wrap" style V neckline, it has fitted, three-quarters length sleeves and a drop waist decorative belt at front.
Note the central torso section in cream with blue decorative buttons - this section unsnaps from the rest of the dress along the left side body for easier on and off. Vertical panels in blue and cream lace trim run down the left and right front torso, matching the upturned little panels at the sleeve cuffs where they are offset with a cream button. Same buttons appear at the decorative front sash at the drop waist. Interior of torso lined with mesh. Also that the waist has a hidden elastic waist line underneath. No tags.

size tag: none / see exact measurements below to ensure fit, but vest for a modern US ladies small due to the somewhat narrow construction of the sleeves mostly.
condition: very good considering its age and delicacy with no tears or actual stains, though the cream at the central chest panel looks a bit washed out. Those interior snaps at the side torso look like they were recently replaced. The interior mesh is in incredibly good condition so also might be more recent. Note that the interior of the top neckline (not seen when worn) shows the remnants of two large snaps that were once used to perhaps attached a collar or neckscarf (?).
