Vintage 60s Black Handbag Silk Fringe Mod
Sweet and sassy little handbag in black silk with a row of long, black, silk fringe across the entire bottom. Site on a base, it opens a hinge to reveal to interior compartments, one of which has a zippered pocket. Brass hardware creates a fun contrast. The front of the bag sports a black, shiny, "knob" of sorts in the form of a curved panel that is places asymmetrically off to the left. It is the mechanism by which you open and close it - by putting your finger through the loop and pulling it towards you! I have never seen anything like it!

Condition: very good with no major issues, but the back of the purse has a few imperfections in the silk in that there is a faint, light gray mark at upper right and a small stain in the shape of a thin line going across, halfway across. Hard to spot unless pointed out in direct light. Please see pics for closeup of details. Does not detract from wearability but priced accordingly.
