Vintage 80s Black Wool Blazer Heraldic Embroidery Manigance
Magnificent, fitted blazer in black wool with a fold down down collar, nipped waist, and a scallop edged, double layered, peplum panel over the hips. It closes down the front with metal buttons emblazoned with buttons. The same buttons appear at the epaulettes at the shoulders. There are chest pockets and, most notably, gold and red metallic embroidery over each pocket and a larger emblem like patch on the upper right arm. These patches appear much older, and perhaps even antique, and Asiatic so perhaps added later? They certainly elevate an already gorgeous jacket. Fully lined at the interior.

Condition: very good with no visible issues, but the embroidered panels are a bit raggedy at the edges seeing as they are much older than the jacket. Noticeable only when peered at directly in bright light. Note also that one epaulette has one large star, while the other has the large one plus three smaller ones. Priced accordingly.
