Vintage Y2K Chanel Dress Cream Black Pleated Long Sleeve
Classic and comfortable day dress from the great couture house, this beauty slip on overhead and features a low, cowl neckline that meets almost in a V shape at the center of the chest. Long sleeves are fitted and cuffed and the torso sports a series of horizontal pleats across the width. Waist is nipped (and secured from the interior with hidden hooks (see second to last pic). The over-the-knee skirt contrasts in blacks and falls in gentle pleating. Fully lined at the skirt. Closes with buttons at the nape and a zipper at center of the back.
Label: Chanel. (2001, Autumn, if you know how to read the label). Made in France.
Fabric: top section is 100% silk, skirt is 100% wool
Fit: like an US ladies medium but please see exact measurements below to ensure fit.

Condition: very good with three small issues. a) the original buttons at the nape have been replaced by small, pearlescent ones. b)there is barely visible 2cm section of wear to the cream silk along the left side of cowl collar, that gets lost in the folds when worn c)The left side of the back has some very faint discoloration, as seen in the last pic. It is more than wearable as is, as one has to be pointed to the imperfection in direct light to notice it. Priced accordingly.
